The document scanners may be attached to a version of Windows which is using SMB1 and your Windows 10 client machines may have SMB1 disabled due to security updates or Intune policies ( if any are configured and you are using intune). You have tried accessing the share using Azure AD credentials AzureAD\UPN format but it did not work.The document Scanner you are using are published on the local LAN using SMB hence I assume that they are connected to either a Windows/Linux machine or a published using SMB through a Network Device.You are using a Office 365 business account to join the machine to Azure AD.You do not have any on-premise server so I assume that you don't have onprem AD.I am assuming the following and will base my answer on the same. Uninstall the old printer drivers first.If the above steps do not work, then try the steps below to completely reinstall the printer drivers: Save the settings, restart the PC & printer and then try to scan again.If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool. Scanning to computer is not working either because the scan to PC is not enabled or because the full feature drivers are not installed. To scan an image to your computer, Network Scanner Tool must be running on your computer.
Is the issue specific to scanning to computer? Did you try scanning “from” the PC? Is it working fine? Please do let me know! To store your computer in the machine as a destination for Scan to Desktop, Network Scanner Tool must be installed from the 'Sharpdesk/Network Scanner Utilities' CD-ROM that accompanies the machine.
